My Birthday
Guess what? Today is my birthday. To celebrate(1) it, my mother took me to a restaurant(2) and the movies. For dinner, I had my favorite food, lasagna(3) and waffles(4) with ice cream. After dinner we went to see a movie. A friend had given us tickets for the movie – “Valiant,” an animation(5).
I think it was a bit childish(6) for my age. However, it is a good animation. In the movie, “Squad F” bravely tried to save the world. It’s not the size of the wingspan(7) that counts(8); it’s the size of their spirits(9).
